Directed by Roman Coppola (son of Francis Ford Coppola), CQ is basically a movie about a young film-editor living in Europe in 1969. When the director of one of the films he's working is fired by a slightly-eccentric producer, the young editor gets thrust into the spotlight as the new director.
So that's basically what the story's about. There's plenty of other little side-stories going on, all with a bunch of other slightly-eccentric characters, and all of which I think seemed to be striving to portray some kind of 'deeper meaning'... Or something.
It was not at all a bad movie, and it was pretty well-made, but I didn't find it especially interesting.
You've rlealy captured all the essentials in this subject area, haven't you?
