In The Good Girl, Jennifer Aniston plays a 30-year-old woman who works at a dead-end job at a small department store and is married to a lazy pot-head house-painter. Aniston begins an affair with a new, much younger, employee at the store (Jake Gyllenhaal) and the majority of the movie focues on this relationship and its effects on Aniston, her husband (John C. Reilly), and their friends.

Aside from a few funny moments, the rest of this movie is pretty much crap. How can anyone care for a movie in which, almost without fail, all of the characters are stupid, depressed, and depressing? Ugh... Also, by the end of the movie it seemed as though none the characters had grown or developed or learned anything new from all that they had gone through.

Anyway, I suppose Jennifer Aniston did a pretty decent job in her role. She should continue acting in movies, just not bad movies like The Good Girl.
